Program Description

EnXchange operates SMS alert notification services as part of the Nexus platform, a real-time decision support system for electric utilities and cooperatives. SMS notifications are delivered on behalf of utility operators to their authorized staff and are used to communicate operational alerts related to wildfire risk, weather conditions, and grid status.

This is an operational alerting program. Messages are not promotional. Recipients are enrolled by their utility operator’s Nexus administrator.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on operational conditions and alert activity within your utility’s service territory. During active wildfire or severe weather seasons, message volume may increase significantly. You will not receive messages unrelated to operational alerts generated by the Nexus platform.

Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of SMS notifications at any time using either of the following methods:

• Text STOP to the sender number at any time. You will receive a confirmation message and no further messages will be sent to your number.
• Remove yourself from notifications in the Nexus platform.

To re-enroll after opting out, contact your utility’s Nexus administrator or text START to the sender number.

Supported Carriers

This program is supported on all major US wireless carriers. EnXchange and your utility operator are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your phone number and message delivery information are handled in accordance with the EnXchange Privacy Policy. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising purposes.

Changes to These Terms

EnXchange may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page when we do.
